Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. This role will support our Nurse Practitioner in delivering aesthetic, wellness, and hormone-focused care, while also ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for our patients. The ideal candidate has experience in a clinical setting, strong independent skills, and a passion for health and aesthetics.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Nurse Practitioner with patient exams, procedures, and aesthetic + wellness consultations.
- Room patients and collect vital signs, medical histories, capture before + after photos, and intake forms.
- Draw blood, perform injections (as permitted by licensure), and handle lab specimens.
- Manage patient follow-ups and EMR documentation.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and pre/post care instructions
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and clinical areas.
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical protocols
- Provide exceptional patient service with a warm and professional demeanor
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical or wellness-focused setting preferred
- Phlebotomy certification is a plus
- Familiarity with hormone therapy, wellness medicine, or regenerative medicine is a plus
- Proficient with EMR systems and basic computer skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Calm, courteous, and professional under pressure
- Dedicated to supporting patients in enhancing their health and overall wellness.
