How did you end up at Arabella?
It was actually through a patient. One of my really good friend’s mom comes to Arabella and Erica mentioned they were looking for a front office/manager. I just happened to also be looking for a change of scenery. I had moved back to Knoxville from spending the last 4 years managing at restaurants & organizing different functions for venues in Australia and New Zealand. It was just meant to be!
What is it like working at Arabella?
It’s crazy, but the good kind! We’re all a bit goofy here. We love to laugh and have fun, but still know how to get down to business. There’s never a dull day here!
What do you like to do when you are not at Arabella?
I’ve honestly become such a homebody, but I do love any kind of outdoor activity, especially if it’s near water. If I can’t bring my dog Rosie though, I’m probably not going. She’s my little sidekick.
What do you wish you had known about skin care when you were younger?
Ugh, SO MANY things. In general I wish I had just been kinder to my skin. I wish I had known how much damage I was actually doing to my poor skin. I had probably spent over a decade falling asleep in makeup. I wish I had known how important it is to invest in better quality products. I knew that my mom got botox every once in a while, but I wish I would’ve started preventative just a tad sooner.
What do you love most about Arabella?
I love my coworkers, but for me it’s really getting to know and see our patients. People might not realize it, but I actually spend more time with them than I do with Erica or Claire. Getting to catch up with people I haven’t seen in a while and hear about what’s going on in their lives is my favorite. I’ve only been here a little over a year, but I feel like I’ve been able to cultivate some really special relationships!
