How Lip filler works
- Our first step is to apply a prescription topical numbing cream for 20-30 minutes to make you comfortable during the treatment.
- Our advanced practice providers will remove the numbing cream, clean and prep the area + begin the treatment, which can take 15-30 minutes.
- After treatment, you will be given a custom take-home comfort care package to help with any swelling + bruising you may have.
- Results are instant and will continue to improve over the next two weeks.

Is there any downtime?
There is no immediate downtime with filler! You can have slight swelling or bruising depending on the area being treated, and this can be reduced with medication recommended by your provider. In office, we can apply mineral based makeup after treatment so you can still make that lunch appointment, finish your work day, or have that date night you’d been looking forward to!
When will I see the results?
Filler results are instant, and you can expect optimal results within 2 weeks.
How long will the results last?
Typically, lip filler will last 10+ months. A maintenance appointment should be scheduled within 6-12 months to assess when the next treatment is needed.
